John Cage understands there is never silence except when your dead and based alot of his work with strings on this and how there is always sound, even if its from your stomach or the blood circulating in your ears. And he spent time in an anechoic chamber to help discover this.
I love the simplicity and colour in this work, as you can almost feel the smooth movement of the lines on the paper, the way the string twists and wiggles around.
